April 2019 Principal's Message

Dear Parents/Guardians, Students and Community Members,

     Liholiho Elementary teachers and staff are in the process of planning for the closing of the 2019-20 SY, and the upcoming summer break. Fifteen students will be representing our school at the the Honolulu District Texaco Speech Festival on Saturday April 27th, at Kaimuki High. Students from over thirty elementary schools will be participating at the Speech Festival!
     End of the year assemblies are being organized. The WOW Assembly will be held on Thursday, May 23 at 1:00 p.m. and the Graduation Assembly will be held on Thursday, May 30 at 8:30 a.m. The last day of school for students will be Friday, May 31.
     The 8th Ave. parking lot will be expanded during the summer months. Summer programs for identified Post K and Post 1 students are also being organized. Kama'aina Kids will be holding their summer program in the cafeteria. Ms. Amber will coordinate the program.
