Dear Parents/Guardians, Students and Community Members,
Our first grade students in the IPL program returned to school this week on a Hybrid A/B schedule. Students appeared to be so happy to be back in school, seeing and interacting with their friends and teachers. I am so proud of our students, as they wore their masks, kept 6' distance and knew how to wash their hands for 20 seconds. Grade 2 students are scheduled to return on Tuesday, January 19. Students in Grades 3-5 will return to school on the following dates:
Grade 3 February 1
Grade 4 February 9
Grade 5 February 22
All parents should have received a letter, a A+ Registration Form and a Google Form to indicate one of the choices listed below:
*In Person Face to Face (IPL) on campus with the homeroom teacher.
*Full Distance Learning (FDL) with Ms. Imanaka & Mr. Nakashima
**Note: Home School is another option. Students withdraw from Liholiho for home school and must re-register to return to the school. Forms may be downloaded from the DOE site.
Continue to check the DOE and school websites for information regarding Covid-19 procedures. Information continues to be updated and posted on these websites. Schools follow the re-opening guidelines and area metrics established by the Department of Health, CDC and Department of Education.
Thank you to our students, parents and staff for following the DOH health and safety mitigation procedures!
